Aquadale Quarry was acquired in 2004, and over the following two years upgraded to produce NCDOT aggregate products.  Located in south Stanly County between Norwood and Oakboro, Aquadale produces a crushed slate stone in a variety of washed, dry-screened and rip-rap sizes.  Rail service is available.
